Edward M. Tate

Edward Tate is State Director and General Counsel for United States Senator Johnny Isakson.

Tate was appointed to the GRTA board in September 2010 by Governor Sonny Perdue, having previously served Governor Perdue and the State as Deputy Executive Counsel and Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Governor Perdue's office, Tate was an associate with King & Spalding LLP in Atlanta. He was previously employed as an analyst with Barclays Capital in New York and a legislative assistant to then U.S. Congressman Johnny Isakson in Washington. Tate is a native of Georgia and a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
