Narender G. Reddy was
appointed to the GRTA Board in 2003. He works in
commercial real estate, specializing in apartment
complexes, shopping centers, motels and speculative
land investments. He, along with four partners,
opened the federally-chartered Quantum National Bank
in Suwanee, Georgia in 1995, the first
Indian-American owned bank in the Southeast. He
served on its board as Director from 1995 to 2001.
Reddy has served as
President of the Indian-American Cultural
Association, Atlanta, is a founding member of the
Indian Professionals Network, the Georgia Indian
American Chamber of Commerce and the American Telugu
Association. He is currently president of the
Indian-American Forum for Political Education (IAFPE
Georgia Chapter), an organization dedicated to
encourage political activism among Indian-Americans.
He is also a trustee of the Hindu Temple of Atlanta,
Riverdale, Georgia.
Reddy
earned a B.A. in Economics and LL.B. from Osmania
University, Hyderabad (India). He also holds an
M.B.A. A resident of Lawrenceville, Reddy has two
daughters, Aishwarya and Karishma, who are studying
at Woodward Academy.
