GRTA to Host First C-Tran Monthly Open House
Public Input Sought on New Route Alignments

Atlanta - Clayton County's highly successful C-Tran bus service is getting ready to expand, and the public can help decide where two new routes should go at a series of monthly open house meetings, the first of which is being held this week in Jonesboro.

Hosted by the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) and Clayton County, the first open house will be held this Thursday evening, January 31, 2002, from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm in the Commissioners' Chambers at the Clayton County Administration Building, 112 Smith Street, Jonesboro.

GRTA staff will give a brief presentation discussing C-Tran and its future.  Those who come to the open house will be asked to present their ideas for two new C-Tran routes that are scheduled to go into operation later this year.  Clayton County and GRTA personnel will be available to answer questions and receive comments.
