to Host First C-Tran Monthly Open House
Public Input Sought on New Route Alignments

- Clayton County's highly successful C-Tran bus service is getting ready
to expand, and the public can help decide where two new routes should go
at a series of monthly open house meetings, the first of which is being
held this week in Jonesboro.
Hosted
by the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) and Clayton
County, the first open house will be held this Thursday evening, January
31, 2002, from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm in the Commissioners' Chambers at the
Clayton County Administration Building, 112 Smith Street, Jonesboro.
GRTA
staff will give a brief presentation discussing C-Tran and its
future. Those who come to the open house will be asked to present
their ideas for two new C-Tran routes that are scheduled to go into
operation later this year. Clayton County and GRTA personnel will be
available to answer questions and receive comments.

monthly meetings will be held on the last Thursday of each month as
